Learning through experiences

Writing a blog has been a roller coaster of emotions, and I went from feeling nervous about needing to share good content, happy about how a blog post turned out, and later went back to feeling stressed about having to be constant.

To be honest, I was not sure if I was up to the task, since writing a blog takes effort, creativity and consistency, nevertheless, I've learned so much and I truly believe that with practice we can all achieve what we desire.

I look backwards with astonishments towards my first blog, one in which I mentioned my personal experience to our topic (traveling) and explained why our name is Pata de Chucho. I was then very inexperienced, and although I’m nowhere to be a professional blogger (not even close), I’ve learned a few skills throughout the weeks of practice.

Here's how I probably looked like while working on my posts:

The first one was on how to embed hyperlinks, being able to link several sources to learn more about tourism in Honduras. As I mentioned in that post, I still believe Hondurans should work together to raise their voice, that we should become the light outside the tunnel, and bring Honduras to a new place within the globalized international world. As a country, we are constantly bringing people down, and those who try to be YouTubers, bloggers, or any other type of social figure are often looked down on. A change of mindset is therefore needed, then is when we will have lots of incredible creators that are constantly challenging themselves to produce better content on a daily basis.

Here's a short video Alex Nerney (@alexnerney on Instagram) and Dale McManus (@dalemcmanus) made about Honduras.

There are many important people in the field of traveling, and the more I researched about Fearless & Far, I had no doubt I wanted to write about him. As mentioned in that blog, Mikey Corey is an excellent YouTuber that has his own platform on BBC news. He is an inspiration to us all and I have no doubts that he’ll become an even more important figure in the traveling business.

All pictures were gathered from Corey's Instagram account.

Although Mikey is a great travel vlogger, he is not the only one. Coreano Vlogs and Yes Theory are great at what they do, producing incredible content that both helps and entertains others. That’s why I had no doubt in creating a blog post about both of them, linking in it their YouTube channel, Instagram accounts, and even an awesome podcast the members of Yes Theory run.

If you're not sure whether or not you'll like their content, here's Coreano Vlog's latest video.

And just in case your curious, Yes Theory's lastest video too.

Last, but not least Lexie Limitless, actually named Alexis Alford, produced (in my opinion) one of the best works about traveling. She, being the youngest person to travel to every country in the world blew my mind, receiving the Guinness World Record, and I talk about her experience in my previous post.

I never had experienced blogging like this before, not even blogging at all and I’m happy to say I loved the experience. I enjoyed researching different topics, watching videos, and stalking traveler’s Instagram accounts. So I guess this is a goodbye, for now...
