The increasing popularity of Colombia in the tourism industry has encouraged the creation of blogs, websites, and online resources devoted to sharing the essence of this exotic country.
Colombiatravel's shares SABROSURA a collaborative musica video, that displays Colombia's beauty, by Sebastián Yatra, Piso 21, Martina La Peligrosa, Herencia De Timbiquí, Alexis Play.
ProColombia, is an entity created by the Colombian government to promote Colombia’s tourism, trade, exportation, public image, and culture. These sources share content about Colombia in spanish.
Another excellent source of information, this time with content in english, is the Off2colombia blog. A web page where the authors of the page share experiences and informed facts about the different destinations in Colombia.
Colombia has a lot to offer and Medellin, the city where I live, should be a destination in your next travel. The mayor’s office offers resources (in spanish) for users to get to know the city’s heart “El Centro” (downtown). If you are more interested in Medellin’s daily life, accommodations, and restaurants Medellinguru and CompásUrbano are perfect for you. Both blogs have recommendations, activities, and varied tours of the city.
Finally, there is always an option for users who want to read more about recent events in Colombian, but don’t understand Spanish. Colombiareports, is a newspaper written in english made with the main purpose of sharing information about Colombia to non-Spanish speakers.
Hope these sources, websites, and blogs are useful for planning your next visit to Colombia!
